扬州电子信息职业技术学校是1984年经江苏省人民政府批准成立的全日制中等专业学校,主要为初中后毕业生提供中等专业学历教育以及进行初、中、高级职业资格培训。20多年来学校经过艰苦创业,改革创新,促进自身发展,办学规模逐年扩大,办学实力逐年增强,形成了以中等职业教育为主体,五年制高职教育、成人大专教育、岗位技能培训并举的多形式、多层次办学格局。
学校教学设施、生活设施、活动场所齐备,拥有现代化实验室、实训室,并建有多媒体电化教室、语音室、图书馆、电子阅览室,学校局域网通过光纤专线接入互联网,有自己的独立网站。学校现有全日制在籍学生3000余人,以三年制普通中专为主体同时联办五年制高职班。开设三个专业大类,分别是电子信息类、机电类、微电子类。电子信息类有:“电子与信息技术”、“通信技术”、“计算机控制技术”、“计算机应用”;机电类有:“表面贴装技术”、“机电技术应用”;微电子类有:“精密电子电路”等专业。其中“电子与信息技术专业”为省级示范专业,“电子与信息技术”、“通信技术”、“计算机应用”为市级示范专业。
师资队伍:学校有一支思想素质和业务素质都较强的师资队伍,其中具有高级职称的教师达15%以上,中级职称的占35%以上,有工程硕士1人,研究生2人,在职研究生2人,教学人员本科以上学历达90%以上。专业教师和实习指导教师70%以上是“双师型”教师。此外学校还聘请了其他高校的教授及科研所、企业中有丰富实践经验的中、高级技术人员担任部分理论教学和实践教学任务,已具有一支专业、职称、学历、年龄结构较为合理、整体素质较高的教师队伍,有力地保证了高质量教学和技能培训。
学校注重开展教学研究和学术交流活动,加强信息互通,进一步扩展了教师的知识面。学校尤其重视对年轻教师的培养,与扬州大学教育技术学院签订了对年轻教师的培训协议,聘请扬大的资深教授对学校年轻教师的教学和说课进行评课、指导,并举办专题讲座,有计划安排教师参加国家、省、市组织的培训和国外学习与交流,安排专业教师到企业实习和调研。近几年,我校教师在各类刊物发表论文若干篇;多人多次主编、主审、参编正式出版的全国高职、中职专业教材。
专业设置:学校面向企业培养人才,认真研究职业岗位的总体变动走势,根据市场需求调整专业设置、课程设置和培养目标,使教学工作主动灵活地适应社会需求,在行业专家、教育专家的参与下制订了学校专业建设的“十一五规划”,并成立了常设机构——专业建设咨询委员会,邀请企业中的工程师、中高级技术人员、车间主任等专家加入。专家们凭丰富的工作经验和领导阅历以及对社会需求的前瞻性,与学校领导、教师一起,针对各专业的职业岗位(岗位群)要求,分析职业综合能力和职业专项技能,建立科学合理的专业课程体系,滚动修改完善教学计划,使我校的专业建设和教学计划,培养目标等与用人单位的需求更加密切,从而形成了自己的办学特色。
专业特点:学校既注重夯实学生的理论基本,又注重与专业相关的技术技能的培养。要求学生顶岗实习前必须获得国家权威部门颁发的相关专业的中级以上等级证书(职业资格证书)、计算机等级证书、英语等级证书和家电维修上岗证。同时,学校还开设了满足学生兴趣、拓宽学生知识面的“电子小制作”、“手机维修”、“网页制作”、“书法”、“法律”、“绘画”、“日语”、“美国口语”等多门选修课,以及为学生继续升学服务的成人高考文化课补习班。目前学校基本形成专业结构合理,专业设置与人才培养模式符合社会需求,专业数量与学校规模相适应,五年制高职专业与三年制中职专业比例合理,重点专业与特色专业相得益彰,专业之间优势互补、资源共享,学校办学整体实力和水平有较大提高的格局。学生的综合能力强,得到用人单位的充分认可。
学生管理:学校有一个以党组织为领导核心,学生科、年级辅导员、班主任、团委、学生会以及各班团支部、班委会为主体的思想政治工作网络体系,学生管理制度完善。对学生的思想道德教育、安全教育、心理健康教育等一系列素质教育活动在提升学生综合素质方面发挥了积极的作用。大部分学生政治上积极要求进步,有近20%的学生提出入党申请。新生进校后,一方面学校教务管理部门对学生进行专业设置和课程安排的介绍,班主任对学生进行学习目的、学习方法的教育和指导;另一方面从制度上建立一整套对学生的激励措施。每学期进行文明班级、优秀团支部、学生奖学金、三好学生、优秀团员、优秀学生干部和各单项先进等评比工作。毕业生就业前,除了成绩合格,取得有关等级证书外,必须参加多项技能考试和毕业生综合成绩评定,取得学校的推荐资格,才能参加用人单位的招聘、面试,从而顺利就业。

Yangzhou Professional and Technological School of Electronic
Information, a full-time secondary specialized school, authorized
by Jiangsu Provincial Government and established in 1984,offers
secondary school education and occupational qualification
training to the students after junior middle school. In the
past 20 years, it has developed a lot through hardworking
, reform and creativity. Now it has formed a pattern of large-scale,
high-level school running, which involves various kinds of
education including five-year higher professional education,
college education for professional training and post-skill
training.
The success of Yangzhou Professional and Technological School
of Electronic Information is based on the high standard of
its faculty. It has not only modern laboratories, practical
rooms; but also multi-media rooms, language laboratories,
electronic reading rooms and Internet. It offers its more
than 3000 students three-year polytechnic school and five-year
higher professional school programs, covering “electronics
and information technology”(the provincial demonstration subject),
“communication technology”, “computer-controlling technology”,
“computer application(the city-level demonstration subject),
“precise electron and circuit”, “surface paste-and-installation
technology”, “the application of mechanical and electrical

State of faculty members:
Around 120 faculty members work on campus, including over
15% professors and associate professors, 35% lecturers, 1
engineering Master’s degree, 4 postgraduate students. more
than 90% teaching members are undergraduates, over 70% teaching
members and practical instructors are “dual-work” teachers.
In addition, Yangzhou Professional and Technological School
of Electronic Information has invited some professors from
other universities and research institutes, some experienced
technical personnel to take on parts of the theoretical and
practical teaching task so that it can assure its high-quality

Yangzhou Professional and Technological School of Electronic
Information pays much attention to teaching studies and academic
exchanges in order to promote information and develop the
range of knowledge as well as the training of young teachers
by signing a contract with Educational Science and Technology
of yangzhou University. It has not only invited some well-known
professors to give some lectures to the young teachers, make
comments and instructions on the lessons of young teachers,
but also planned to encourage teachers to attend all kinds
of training including overseas studies and exchanges. Above

Yangzhou Professional and Technological School of Electronic
Information tries its best to study carefully the general
trend of job post and adjust the set-up of specialized subjects,
the set-up of courses and the goal of cultivation in time
according to the need of market. With the help of the professional
experts and some educators, it has drawn up “the 11th five-year
plan” of the construction of specialized subjects, established

Students Management:
Yangzhou Professional and Technological School of Electronic
Information has established a perfect administrative system
which is under the leadership of CCP and consists of directors
at every level from department, grade to class, Youth Corps
Committee, students’ union and class-based organizations.
This system has laid positive effects on promoting the students’
all-round quality by organizing various activities which cover
the range of moral education, security education, mental health
education, etc. The majority of the students show great enthusiasm
for politics and around 20% of the students applied for joining
the Party. After enrolling in the school, the students will
